HyperCollector Initiated VPN

Deployment

The default deployment for a HyperCollector when connecting to a HyperSec XDR, HyperSec Cloud or cloud SIEM back-end involves a HyperCollector Initiated VPN.

This entails the HyperCollector instantiating a VPN connection from itself back to the supporting cloud-based DMZ.

Implementation of this connection is relative simple, involving:

• Provision of a VPN connection file for the HyperCollector by your provider.
• Permitting UDP/1194 through to the internet exposed VPN endpoints of your provider from the HyperCollector.
